Decking

A friend asked me to build a deck for his garden, and I was more than happy to help!

I designed a 5m by 3m deck and built it from the ground up. These images capture the deck at different stages of construction—from the solid base, made from 2x6 treated timber raised off a concrete pad, to the finishing trim around the uprights, perfect for hanging festoon lights.

The base was also reinforced in the center to support a future hot tub.
